This chess set comes from one of the greatest moments in chess history in 1972 World Chess Championship battle between legendary Grand Masters Robert “Bobby” Fischer from United States and Boris Spassky from Soviet Union(Russia).

This match took place in the Reykjavík, Iceland, and has been dubbed the Match of the Century.
